You may have walked into the school’s front entrance for the first time in 2018 and noticed something a little different…
Over the break, Robina’s front entrance was given a facelift with new pebble concrete laid with a walkway to the new front facing office entrance, thanks to the Robina P&C and fundraising activities over 2017 supported by our generous community.
This new front entrance is now the main entrance and use of the previous door at the rear of the building will be phased over the coming weeks, to be used as a staff only entry.
The upgrade also included installation of a new wider roller gate at the front of the school which opens up the space during high traffic times and improves security at other times, replacing the previous broken and worn gate and fence.
The final step in this entrance improvement is the installation of seating, funding of which has already been approved by the P&C, and some painting and signage which we hope to be completed within the next few weeks.
We think this, along with the new front sign installed late last year have made a dramatic improvement to the front face of our school and want to acknowledge the fantastic collaboration between Mrs Baker & her team and the P&C for bringing this project to fruition.
