Next time you’re near the CPAC check out the new tinted windows installed this week, funded by the P&C following a unanimous vote at the January P&C meeting.
The tinting, installed by Gold Coast business UltraTint comes after it was identified that the light coming in affected the screen visibility when the projector is in use.
Curtains were considered as an alternative, but it was determined tinting would be a better option due to maintenance and repairs that would be required with curtains.
As a bonus, the tinting may even help keep out some of the summer heat, and reduce visibility from the outside, providing some extra privacy when in use.
This is just one of the many projects on the radar for the P&C this year, with a major wi-fi upgrade also just around the corner and talks about several new playgrounds around the school.
The P&C are calling for anyone interested in nominating for an executive position this year to get in touch and find out more.
Elections are held every year at the March AGM (14th March 2018 @ 6:30pm) and everyone is welcome and encouraged to be involved.
